Inventory Control Coordinator

Manufacturing company in Exton is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator. The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and verifying the digital records on incoming raw materials and products as well as outgoing finished goods. This position is responsible for assisting the Inventory Control Supervisor with the daily tasks to ensure that all shipments are processed and leave on-time for delivery. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 

1.     Checking system reports daily to prioritize and expedite product to fulfill shipments.

2.     Assists and evaluates the needs of the shipping department, coordinating with the Inside Sales when further clarification of shipping instructions is needed.

3.     Initiates, answers, and documents inquiries when requested via email and/or fax.

4.     Interfaces with internal customers including, purchasing, accounting, quality, manufacturing, sales, and IT to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.

5.     Using SYSPRO, Excel, Word, Outlook to organize and perform daily tasks as needed.

6.     Processes and digitizes all inbound and outbound paperwork and files them accordingly.

7.     Assist in performing weekly Cycle Count.

8.     Assist in performing Inventory adjustments, locating Inventory, correcting Inventory levels and locations.

9.     Perform back-order release throughout each day to provide shipping with up-to-date shipments to process in a timely manner.

10.  Assist and/or lead Projects within the department to make the team more efficient including but not limited to:

a.     Monitor stock inventory levels against planned levels for specific components and materials and provide recommendations to purchasing to maintain inventory levels.

b.     Monitor finished product inventory levels and coordinate with planning to initiate work orders for maintaining minimum levels according to the forecasted stocking plan.

11.  Back up for the shipper as needed.

12. Back up for the Inventory Control Supervisor as needed.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED. 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or manufacturing setting.

Forklift and other Industrial Power Lift experience or certification helpful but not required.
