About the Opportunity

A growing manufacturing company in Downingtown is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Inside Sales & Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. This is a Direct-Hire opportunity. This role is designed as a career-building position, offering hands-on training, exposure to ERP systems, and the chance to grow into a key contributor across operations, quoting, and supply chain coordination.

What You’ll Do:

Training & Customer Operations (First 6–12 Months)

  • Train within the Customer Service team to gain a strong understanding of products, systems, and workflows

  • Provide backup support including order entry, quoting, and order management

  • Assist customers with product inquiries, order tracking, and fulfillment coordination

  • Build knowledge of company products, customers, and internal processes

Sales Support & Quoting

  • Assist with customer quotes and special pricing requests

  • Support margin review and pricing analysis

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the quoting process

Systems & Data Management

  • Work extensively within the ERP system (Syspro) to manage order flow and data

  • Maintain accurate customer, product, and order information

  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and workflows

Analytics & Reporting

  • Utilize advanced Excel to analyze operational data

  • Create reports and tools to support decision-making and planning

  • Track operational metrics and performance indicators

Supply Chain & Operations

  • Assist with inventory coordination and order fulfillment

  • Support supply chain planning activities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product flow from order to delivery

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in operations, customer operations, supply chain, industrial distribution, or a related field

  • Experience with ERP systems (Syspro or similar) strongly preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)

  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and operational databases

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred

  • Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered
