Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $72,800.00 per year

Job Summary:

King of Prussia manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for overseeing both the machinery and mechanical equipment located at the facility. This position is permanent / Full time, scheduled Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. with occasional overtime or weekend as needed.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on converting equipment, facility systems, and facilities maintenance.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

  • Maintain and calibrate production machinery including slitters, laminators, presses, and CNC cutters.

  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Document maintenance activities and repairs using work orders.

  • Work with Production to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.

  • Assists with machine set-ups, movements, layouts, adjustments, upgrades, equipment installations, and continuous improvement projects.

  • Maintains spare part inventory and work area.

  • Assists with fixtures, gages, and special equipment as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Required Experience:

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems including gears, belts, bearings, and motors.

  • Ability to identify and resolve issues with wiring, sensors, relays, and control panels.

  • Skilled in maintaining and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

  • Capable of executing scheduled maintenance tasks (Preventive Maintenance) to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.

  • Clear verbal and written communication with Production Supervisor and team.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical technology preferred.

Associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field a plus.

 

Experience:

2-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
