McCallion Staffing is dedicated to the professional growth of the applicants we work with. We work with you every step of the way to understand your goals, requirements and preferences to ensure we’re helping you move forward in your career. We’ve compiled common questions that applicants ask when starting out with us to help you understand what’s involved and feel comfortable with the process.

How soon can I start working?

Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once your application process is complete, you’ll be considered based on your preferences and skills and then be offered appropriate positions. Though our team will do everything in our power to place you in a position that meets your requirements, there’s no guarantee we’ll find you employment.

What’s involved in the application process?

To register with McCallion Staffing, contact us using our website form, phone number or email to set up a time to visit our office. During an interview meeting with a dedicated recruiter, you’ll be asked to provide your complete work history information and vocational skills as well as discuss your career goals and preference in shift, type of work and location. Once your interview is complete and depending on the type of job you’re looking for, you may be asked to do some computer testing to determine skill levels. Once reference information is complete, you’ll be offered jobs based on all the factors of your interview process. At this point, McCallion Staffing will complete background, criminal and drug tests as well as other checks required by the hiring company.

How do I register with McCallion Staffing?

Prior to COVID-19, all candidates were required to come to our office and meet with a recruiter in-person. We now offer a virtual registration process in addition to in-person interviews. A McCallion Staffing recruiter will interview you via zoom or telephone and send you an electronic application that you can complete and sign. This process has been very efficient. We also love to see our candidates in-person, so the decision is yours!

If I’m placed on an assignment through McCallion Staffing, who is my legal employer?

McCallion Staffing is your legal employer if you’re placed on a temporary or temporary-to-hire assignment. Your paychecks will come from McCallion Staffing on a weekly basis. If you need to call out of work or if you get hurt on the job or end the assignment, please contact McCallion Staffing immediately.

What do I pay for your services?

Excellent attendance, punctuality, hard work and a good attitude go a long way! The majority of our temporary employees who practice these attributes always receive excellent feedback upon completion of their assignment and as a result, a majority of our temporary hires get converted to full-time employees.
