At McCallion Staffing, we’ve helped companies and people grow since 1979. With dedicated recruiters and a proven process for understanding your needs, recruiting top talent and supporting hires along the way, our goal is to help your company move forward. We’ve compiled common questions that employers ask when starting this process to help your company get where it needs to be faster.

How much will it cost my company to work with McCallion Staffing?

The cost to you will vary based on several factors, including account volume, workers’ compensation costs and lead time for our dedicated recruiters. McCallion Staffing is committed to providing quality employees to your company at a competitive price.

What is the process for finding employees through McCallion Staffing?

The McCallion Staffing Way is our proven process for helping companies and people grow through quality talent and compassionate service. We start by discovering your hiring needs, core values and discussing our recruiting process including our services and policies. Immediately following our discovery session, we begin recruiting top local talent from our extensive referral network by using modern channels every day of the week. Next, we prescreen the most qualified applications for you, using multiple interview types and conducting background and drug tests. Finally, we’ll work with you to select and hire the best candidates and support the candidate hiring process with comprehensive benefits packages, motivating performance bonuses and constant support and communication.

How long will it take to have an employee in our company?

The timeframe for successfully finding an employee for you varies based on our current candidate base and your specific needs. We’re committed to recommending only the most qualified applicants, many of whom we typically have on-hand through our on-demand talent network of thousands of prescreened candidates.

What kind of background checks do you provide?

Every applicant is prescreened with a criminal background and drug test after an offer is made as well as reference checked based on the work history they provide. Some clients request a driving record screen or fingerprint-based background check and we can provide these services as well as meet any other specific needs you might require.

What if I’m not satisfied with an employee placed by McCallion Staffing?

We realize that not every job is a fit for every person and sometimes that’s not clear until the person starts work. Our temporary-to-hire program provides an opportunity for you to experience an employee in the work setting and determine if they’ll be someone you want to hire. If you’re not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them at any time. We also offer direct placement services and guarantees based on the contract for each client.

What kind of jobs do you fill?

McCallion Staffing partners with a wide range of companies in Greater Philadelphia, including Bucks and Montgomery Counties. We provide staffing support to businesses of all sizes, ranging from small startup companies to fortune corporations. Our dedicated recruiters regularly place qualified candidates into direct-hire, temporary and temporary-to-hire positions in administrative, professional and light industrial roles.

Why should I use your service instead of filling the position on my own?

We pride ourselves on the quality of our employees and feel our greatest resource is our past, present and future employees. The screening process for our applicants allows us to best match their skills and training to the positions available. By using the temporary-to-hire program with McCallion Staffing, the hiring risk is out of your hands. If you’re not satisfied with an employee, we can replace them and you have not made the investment of hiring them onto your payroll. We cover workers’ compensation and unemployment costs as well as taking away the stress of recruiting and screening applicants. McCallion Staffing invests in our own employees by providing ongoing training for all of our office staff. We can be a resource to you when questions arise about staffing and employment.
